Excellent combo!--the colors really work for me, they seem to keep the tie grounded. This might be the American bias in me, but I would have preferred a plain shirt--but that's just me.

Like that DB--I wonder if a lighter colored bottom half might have worked a little better? Maybe even a mid grey or tan of some sort? The combo works overall, just thinking out loud.

Agreed. Dark green with some texture. A solid shantung or knit would work.
