Obligatory menswear pose. Meermin snuff suede string loafers still going strong. Is it just me or have tassels been getting more love lately?

I think they are, I caught myself yesterday looking pretty seriously at a pair of Alden tassel loafs and had to wonder if at heart I am really just a slave to every trend (I decided I probably was); but in short: it seems so.

Also: lovely tie and nicely paired--is it one of your brand's?

Well you certainly can't go wrong with Alden! I guess preferences tend to wax and wane but thankfully both string and tassel are classics.
Thank you! Yes everything I wear is X of Pentacles except the shirt (Luxire), socks (Sozzi) and shoes. I tried to avoid the shantung/grenadine rage this summer and did panama weave cotton instead for neckwear. Also switched to 100% silk pocket squares this season instead of wool/silk. All about balance

Temp dipped juuuust enough to break out corduroy again.

To me all of this looks like kind of a mish-mash. The jacket is informal, tie and trousers are formal, shirt doesn't really fit in with either. If you want to wear the corduroy, I would find more a more rugged tie and trousers, and swap the shirt, the blue just does not seem to go with the color of the corduroy, and the two textures just do not seem like a good match. Shirt says spring/summer, corduroy does not.

Not in this pattern with a matching jacket and waistcoat.

Maiden voyage for my first Vass shoes. Definitely the highest quality shoes I have so far. As for the rest of the fit, the shirt is pale pink linen from Mango - surprisingly good value for money. I couldn't figure out which square would pair nicely with the suit and tie and didn't want to go with white linen one, so in the end I went squareless and I have no regrets ;)

Looks great. I'm currently trying to sever the link in my brain that says a fit isn't finished until I find the right square

I agree with @colHolm but I miss the white suede (I think?) AEs already...

Thank you.

Don't wear the white suede Nomads every day.

Since today is Father's Day, here's a picture of me (wearing white shoes) with my Father (near the parking area at the old Griffith Park Zoo) way back when Harry S. Truman was President.

Valid points thank you. Any suggestions on trousers? I don't have any tailored cotton trou but those would have probably worked better. Not quite cold enough for flannel
