Good stuff, Alan. Do you generally prefer loafers?
Thanks E.

I have flat & high arched feet (go figure) so can't keep closed laced oxfords on too long. For comfort, I opt for loafers or bluchers. My favorite knock-abouts being Belgian shoes (slippers).

The square looks a little out of place, but otherwise, very nice.

Waiting for an eastbound train to go to the Los Angeles County Natural History Museum.

Today was Dapper Day at the Los Angeles County Natural History Museum. I am killing two stones with one bird by both making an ironic comment about all the people who wear flat caps with (mostly clip on) bow ties to Dapper Day as well as following the example of Kaiser Wilhelm II who wore an Admiral uniform when he went to the aquarium by dressing like the principal characters (they were veterinarians) in the British TV series "All Creatures Great And Small".

Capas cap, two pieces of a Brooks Brothers brown herringbone three piece suit I got in 1965, Brooks Brothers tie, Tommy Hilfinger pocket square, Ralph Lauren Polo Golf Fair Isle sweater vest, Faconnable tattersall OCBD shirt, and Allen-Edmonds shoes.
