Can you feel this knuckle sandwich?!?! :D

Seriously, though, the tie is actually linen. The pattern of the suit is not so apparent IRL, reading more as texture, but I admit that the similarity of the scales did cross my mind. Just looked in the mirror, though, and I'm still happy with it. :)

Yeah, probably a bit much to critique based on a close up from one foot, on something probably not discernible from normal social distances.

    Linen...must train my eye better.

So, I've never entered a challenge before. Do I just post a pic here and say it's for the challenge and I'm good to go?

Anyway, rule breaker challenge submission or not, my fit for today, featuring a PRL DB blazer with lapels that'll slap you in the face if you're not careful. And narrow tie (the rule breaking aspect).

I think the scale of the puppytooth coat and the dots of the weave of the tie are too close. The striped rep tie is the right idea, but this one is more than just a striped rep

Yeah I agree the rep tie is a bit too textured to work with the cloth. I'm working on my tie selection so hopefully I'll be able to post something better soon!

    Cheers

It's definitely not for me either. If I suddenly become old, rich, and Italian, all at the same time, maybe. But while it's not a look that I personally would go for, it's a pretty impressive version of what it is.

Very nice, GMMcL. I know this is about 2-3 patterns less than usual for you, so I appreciate the restraint. Tie is a beaut!
