Fantastic, except the stripes on your tie are going the wrong way. Mirror shot, eh?
Love the jacket! This is such a cool shot.
A Forty Niner and I. (An actual Forty Niner would have worn a hat when panning for gold and wouldn't need to have his head repaired with tape.)
Brooks Brothers blue blazer, pink gingham PPBD shirt (a recent shirt but quite obviously a manufacturing error since it has some good old
fashioned Brooks Brothers collar roll), and grenadine BB#1 repp stripe tie, Squarextraordinaire pink polka dot pocket square, Leatherman patchwork Madras belt, Hamilton 992B Railway Special pocket watch, chain, and old school fob, Polo Ralph Lauren "Grand Illusion" (they come pre faded and pre salt water stained) Nantucket Red trousers, and Bass white bucks with blue laces.
@The Millennial Gentleman, if you still haven't found anyone to take your picture, since half the people wherever you are are girls, you might want to try going up to one of them and asking her if you can ask her a question.
If she says "yes" tell her your Grandmother worries about you so you try to send her a picture almost everyday so she can see you are all right and then show the girl how your camera works.
Hope this pans out for you.
A small celebration as this was actually the 400th tie to feature on my Diplomatic Ties blog.

X post from Casual.
New tie from NoMan
Some of you might recall on Tuesday I posted a picture of @Tibor and I in downtown Los Angeles. I met him at Union Station and then we went sightseeing in Downtown Los Angeles.
Today he discovered a girl had taken our picture at Union Station while I was getting a muffin and posted it in an "Art Deco" online group. As you can see, apparently the girl got so excited when she saw us she couldn't hold her camera straight.
The caption she wrote when she posted the picture was "Spotted last week at Union Station. Proof that vintage style is still occasionally seen outside of events." She is still so excited about seeing us that she doesn't realize Tuesday won't be "last week" until tomorrow.
If she ever ran across this group, she would probably have an attack of the vapours when she saw all of our pictures.
I'm not even wearing "Vintage Style" The suit was new when I got it (and Nixon was President) and I've always looked like this.
Anniversary dinner tonight.
I usually only lurk this thread and otherwise post over in SW&D, but a friend got married yesterday so here I am.
Cellphone in inner pocket made the jacket drape a bit weird, took it out after I saw the picture.
Inspired by the one and only @Tirailleur1
If you're more of a SW&D guy, it doesn't matter much - but the reason the jacket is not draping well is because it is too small. The jacket and sleeves are both quite short and the buttoning point, which should be at your natural waistline, is very high. In the future you might consider sizing up.
