Your display of double breasteds is edging me towards having one made. You wear them well, and I think I'm just about over the hangover of those awful 80s versions.
Would look good, maybe in a mid grey or navy chalk flannel. I'm also keen on a black and white three piece small houndstooth suit with forward pleated trousers but I spend so much already, they must wait until my budget is ready.
At my age, so much to get, so little time....

She looked at this foto and told me that with the foot and made an other one. I took the first one. So because it was a relaxed atmosphere, perfection was not the goal.

DBs are the ish, but only if they are well-proportioned - silhouette, button placement, jacket length all become even more important with a double-breasted suit than a single. Today's happens to be a happy "crime of opportunity" - a sale item at Paul Stuart in NYC.

I love the texture of flannel, but between NYC's climate, and its central heating, I an hesitant to buy more flannel, preferring not to swelter in my suits save for the dead of winter. Mid grey or navy chalkstripe would be great-looking as a DB, and Holdfast actually has a 3-piece in a houndstooth not dissimilar to the one you describe - in the autumn (Northern Hemisphere), I am sure it will make an appearance.

That's really good, Choc. The subtle pink-and-green works nicely.

@SeaJen you have an uncanny resemblance to Liam Neeson! awesome!
    Nice look btw

Chocsosa your suiting always seems to fit you very well, and I know it's been said in here before that you are a big dude. Are your suits bespoke?

It´s middle class RTW from a German brand called "Windsor". After the season you get this brand with a 50-70% discount from a german online outlet, which is a good price for the quality.
