1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

I can't realize if the tie has green or blue lines o_O. Though, great colors in general, but if those are blue, I think you should have taken another shirt

Went to Dapper Day with my pals and became a beacon of sartorial light to the masses of clip on suspenders, saturated shirts, and bowties. All joking aside, it's one of the few times a year I break out my full 1930s-1940s vintage suits and get to have fun in vintage menswear!

It was pretty hot that day, so I'm lucky I was in my lightweight and drape-y gaberdine 1940's suit! I love the lapels and patch pockets but these shoulders are outrageous; I felt like a linebacker with this padding. The suit also has double pleated trousers with a Hollywood waist and drop loops! the instagram post by Aleks Cvetkovic about an Edward Sexton suit with the same details came to my mind instantly.
My friends to the left of me are wearing some early 1930s rarities (belt back and 1932-1937 palm beach respectively). If you want to see the details as well as see some of the cool sartorial people we met, be sure to read my blog post on it!

Midterm conferences all this week, so I decided to sport the charcoal pinstripe today. Something severe to match my severity. Photo on 4-27-17 at 7.37 AM.jpg IMG_2699.JPG IMG_2700.JPG

I wish I could take even semi-decent pictures of this suit. In any event, it is happy to meet its newest brother tomorrow:
