There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Shortly after these pictures were taken, it was raining and hailing - charms of Spring I suppose. [IMG]

@SYCSYC I know your pain and that's why I'm going to replace some pieces from my wardrobe rather than add new ones.

Looks like Lake Geneva. We need an Englishman, a Canadian and an exotic beauty in there to reenact the opening credits from The Champions' (showing my age there!)

Brown shoes would have been better for this fit imo

Was thinking the same thing. Black is a bit stark.

You're probably both right. But I didn't get to wear this pair for quite some time and I wanted to make up for it this week when the weather finally started getting better.

The same, only with different weather. The night views do vary with the changes of lighting on the Empire State Building. I will see if I can capture same sometime soon.

My poor attempt at smart-assery failed. I bet the night views are awesome, please do share when you can.

Your smart-assery didn't fail - I simply didn't take the bait in quite the expected manner. :satisfied: And, yes, the night views are awesome - I will endeavor to get a shot or two of them soon.

    Thanks.

To make sure I know that my untrained eyes are seeing the right thing...
    ...is this an orphaned jacket?

Hello, hello. Here is my first English Cut suit, made by Tom Mahon exactly five years ago. Had it taken in once after loosing some kilos. Still one of my all time favourites.

Shirt is MTM from Turnbull & Asser, tie is TRW from same.
    PS from Kent Wang.
Shoes are Allen Edmonds and socks from Tyrwhitt.
And hidden is braces from Alfred Thurston.

That's not an orphaned part of a suit, unless it's part of a hybrid BlazersuitTM--in which case the pieces are designed to work as separates. The pockets (all patch) and the contrasting buttons in what looks like smoked mother-of-pearl mark it as an odd jacket. Someone really should do a compilation thread on navy jackets across the spectrum of formality for reference.

@in stitches , that fit deserves a more substantial pen.
