Just like Caustic, I went to the opera today. I was probably one of the few people who had even bothered putting on a suit and some type of neck wear. Not that I generally care about how other people dress, but I think going to the opera is one of those times when you could at least bother yourself with putting on a tie (or bow tie).

Naturally I switched to black oxfords before leaving.

The bonus picture is the best!

@clarinetplayer I have just noticed your Dorothy Sayers quote. I am pleased to say that I live in the small Essex town where she spent much of her later life in this lovely house - perhaps you know it: My own house nearby is not quite so grand...
This is cool! It looks exactly the way a home of a high church Anglican lady mystery writer ought to look. Thanks for sharing.

@EFV
It is said that he can wear a suit from JoSABanks and still look like a BAWS

@dazedstate
The shoulders seem like they need some padding...to me:puzzled:

@Gerry Nelson that cuff shoe combo is crazy cool. You get my 2016 Cary Grant award.

Pretty understand you. The situation in Prague is the same. Also do not know why people go to opera and even do not get dressed appropriatelly ... .

You don't think unstructured shoulders suit me? Fair enough. Reasons?
It would be nice to see a comparison between structured and unstructured shoulders on you. I cannot put my finger on it but it seems like as if the jacket is being pull from behind.

Excellent stuff guys. New jacket, I think I need a little waist suppression, thoughts?
I am not sure what is wrong, but something seems a bit off to me; maybe too tight chest and too high button stance? I really like the pattern and the tie/pants/SC combo btw.

Thank you both. Their is actually quite a bit of extra fabric through the chest and waist but it all sits in the back. I think that the balance may be off and I hope my tailor can fix.
