Worst weather today. Rainy and hot. Rainy read 100% humidity. Triple linen. The shirt is blue.

Edit: I'm wearing my favorite square today. I was thinking about starting a favorite pocket square thread, but saw that the last two died painful deaths many, many years ago. I thrifted this for $5. No tags.

I was up in NYC last week and wanted to throw up by the end of the day. The air quality sucks and I couldn't breath. I also did not see that many SF approved folks in NYC. I had this perception that NYers dressed better in suits but that was not the case. The ladies definitely dress better up in NYC.

AS, I got to say that I love your Black Watch tie! It seems to produce a great knot and dimple and looks like a nice width! Pretty good fit as well, if you ask me!

I originally from Florida. I never noticed the air quality being terrible and I guess I'm use to it at this point. I'd say that people in NY do dress better than people in other cities, but you have to keep in mind that there are over 8 million people here. The majority dress like the rest of the US if not worse. That's what you're most likely to see statistically.

Thanks and thanks. The tie is vintage Brooks Brothers Makers cotton madras. It has a nice lining in it. Lightweight, but thick enough to produce a good knot.

Well, maybe not 100% Black Watch but close enough in terms of colors for me!

Following @EliodA 's advice, here's the same fit in natural light. Sorry, WAYWRN denizens, for the double post, but he's right--makes a huge difference.

Clags, I think ties in a similar color to the jacket work best with suits. In your fit today, the effect is a lot of blue up top and a completely unrelated bottom half.

Haven't posted here for a while, but no Wife or kid home to bother me, so of course first order of business is to take poor quality bathroom selfies for WAYWRN:
