My striped tie a few pages back is a Shibumi (suggested by Claghorn). They're very quick to respond to e-mail questions, and were very pleasant to deal with.

    Cheers,

really? its pretty clearly bronze not red, to me. and the white is more of a silver.

I seem to always follow a member who rocks one of the elements in my fits to its ultimate perfection; today, it's Sander with his blue DB. Nevertheless, taking advantage of a chilly day in the northern US to give some fall pieces their first wear. Jacket is Southwick for Epaulet, trousers are D'Avenza for Venanzi.

Noodles, i went with the straight-on angle you suggested. I think the moral of the story is that iPhone selfies just suck, and I need a DSLR or similarly capable digital camera. Anyone got a mid-range DSLR or similar setup (Fuji X100, for example) that they want to unload?

I'd recommend using a mirror to take your pictures. There's a reason the bathroom selfie is so prominent in #menswear.

@heldentenor , make sure that you have plenty of daylight (and daylight only). Then you'll see you can make pretty decent photos with an iPhone. And there's a self timer on an iPhone, right?

Call me an idiot, but I had no idea that iPhones had a self-timer (technically it's an app, but it's easy to get). This may change things. I'll see what I can do later today, begging the forbearance of the good folks of this thread for double-posting a fit.

Thanks; yes, it's a relatively new tie. I really like repp patterns in this grenadine weave.
