One of the nicest grey jacket/navy trew looks I've seen. But it also highlights why it's a look that has never been popular and really doesn't work. I'm assuming the trews are worsted? .. which odd trews should never be. It mixes up the levels of formality. The contrast sleeve buttons work with that tie, I guess, but probably not with any other color. I would have them changed.

this looks great! I like it a lot. Pliny, come on, you don't think your post was at least curt? Why else woukd you say something like, (paraphrasing) "I don't know what this is supposed to be, but..." if not to convey at least some disdain. I don't really care if you don't like the way my outfit looked, but don't get personal and definitely don't gaslight me. Be funny? Yes! Be, witty? Certainly! And if we have a rapport built up, then by all means, take a friendly shot. I am no "***** Ass", as eric so eloquently put it. How about this: if you wouldn't say something to someone's face, don't say it here. I swear, if some of you guys acted in your daily business lives as you do in this thread, there's no way in hell you'd have the money to buy the wonderful clothes you wear.
