    Pleasant day to you sir,

First off. Big fan. Thank you for the kind words. Good advice too, I had never thought of having the collar points being made longer was a thing. Will keep posting! This thread brings me much joy, been following it for some time now.

    Greetings!

Yes! Good advice if I may say. Thank you. I will agree the watch head is quite big as well. I will try a smaller one next time.

    Thanks,

    Hal

Not very satisfied with today's outfit...:dozingoff: Maybe I should wear a white shirt instead of horizontal stripes.

A difficult one today; first to evening mess in church, then to celebrate birthday at a restaurant.
But God doesn't mind, the birthdayparty does.

What is that jacket? Interesting shoulder. Quite distinctive.

@Roy Al - great weekend look. I'm just sitting here thinking should I wear bordeaux shoes with red linen trousers and you post this :)

About the collar points on the shirt...I was recommending that you buy/thrift shirts with longer collar points. I'd recommend at least three inches. Many shirt companies sell shirts with smaller collar points, but I don't think they work well with ties and sport coats.

Good fit, but the lemon peel is too wide. Throws off the proportions.

Oh I see. Very well then. Next time I go out to buy/thrift shirts I will keep that in mind! It might be some time before I do that though so apologies if my future posts will have smaller points, but I will be on the lookout for those now.

    Thank you,

    Hal

Would rather call it dark chestnut. But Then I've given it a bit of shine.

@DiplomaticTies That jacket is bizi and with that tie its over the top. Might work if everything else were very quiet.

The problem isn’t the color— it’s the horizontal stripes, which don’t comport terribly well with a jacket and tie in a CM context.

    Cheers,

@CM Nope. Tie is a no go with the suit. I like the orange socks with the suit though. I also like the shirt and tie together. Where is the shirt from?
