1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

In the first image, light effects are strange, suit appears to be dark blue.

Love it, just wished you would have worn smarter shoes. Burgundy tassels in a sleeker last would have been killer.
    Suit is from Chan?

This photo was hard to pull off. Storm clouds started rolling in and messed with the light. Rain was greatly appreciated though. Tie is actualy bright but appears a bit washed out here. Suit is BB all linen. Weave is very tight and they dyed the crap out of it. Able to pass as business wear without the usual streaky linen look. Not a bad compromise for work wear.

    Suit: Brooks Brothers
    Tie: Isaia (linen)
    Shirt and PS: Brooks

Breaking in new ensemble. If the trousers get higher I could just attach the collar and leave the shirt.

Said it before and I will say it again: Thanks to all that like my pictures, and quoting the other Roy: thanks to all who post pictures of themselves.

A Spanish Colonial Revival fountain and I.

Napps (3/2 sack with a hook vent and patch pockets) ivory silk jacket, Brooks Brothers blue PPBD shirt, BB#1 stripe tie, and BB Tartan pocket square, Trafalgar red and blue surcingle belt, Polo Ralph Lauren Madras trousers (with a buckle in back), and Florsheim ivory suede wingtip shoes.

Close up of the buckle in back of the trousers. When I was younger, almost all trousers had buckles in back. Leaving the buckle in back unfastened was called "Trailing Ivy".

Trousers that look perfect on standing people never work when they actually sit down. A big sloppy break looks terrible but I also hate my pants pulling to knicker-length when I sit down. [IMG]

The waistband starts at my navel, and ends 4 cm higher. It's like being embraced by trousers. Strange feeling.
I have all mye trousers cut high, but this is a skyscraper. Need time to get friendly with this one.
