Tried not to go overboard with the patterns. Thanks for the feedback regarding the fit from Monday, and I agree Smitty, grey jackets are great for blue/purple windowpanes.

You know what's the antithesis of rock'n'roll? Billy Joel, that's what.

I think that your fit would have benefited from a plain shirt and a patterned tie, rather than the reverse - I am not feeling the striped shirt with this jacket. I like all the pieces, but maybe not altogether - sorry :embar:.

I will take this advice for when i try this jacket next time. I do have a nice sky blue, pink, and yellow stripped tie that would go well with a white shirt and this jacket. Thanks for the feedback sir!

Jacket looks like an ill fit in this photo. But it's pretty spot on IRL.

Nice blue and white combo. Jacket does look a little tight in chest and around the buttoning point.

Today, the temperatures have moderated a bit, and I am taking a departing colleague out to lunch in honor of his new job, hence the move back to suits.

@upr_crust , I don't like the tie but the rest of your outfit is spot on. Your style is an inspiration for me!

I do associate penny loafers, navy blazers, repp ties, and chinos with trad / Ivy League - perhaps the association is pretty loose, though, historically speaking.
