1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Very nice @Pliny . Each time i see that Henrycarter challis in any colour, i am envious.

Btw your earlier fit with the green jacket violates your more than FU rule, no? Green jacket, flamboyant tie, green chukkas!

Nice, although the breast pocket seems unusually high on this suit jacket.

Today's tie is an example of a "challenging" article of clothing - its color demands a lot of attention, and it's a challenge to counterbalance it with the rest of an outfit. Let's see if I did OK with it, with this Anglo-French alliance of accessories.

    Suit - Paul Stuart
    Shirt - Tyrwhitt
    Tie - Charvet
    Braces - Lewin
    Cufflinks - M P Levene, London
    PS - Alain Figaret
    Shoes - Septieme Largeur, Paris

One of my few regrets from Sunday was that we four didn't have the opportunity for a proper photo op - with the crowds, we couldn't see you when we ventured out into the main area, and we were otherwise cloistered in the VIP section (easy access to food and drink has its temptations). The pleasure was ours to meet you and Mrs. Acute Style.

That's a gorgeous suit, Spoo, but sleeves could use a pressing.

A good attempt - colors are all classic and complementary, navy birdseye fabric is nice, shoes look good. For future consideration: collar points are too short and curling, repp/striped tie can work fine with a striped shirt but try to find a balance where lines in the tie are not too close in scale to the lines in the shirt as it leads to visual confusion, and on the whole the suit seems overly slim throughout, buttoning point high, and jacket too short - the latter no-doubt exaggerated by the angle of the photo but not entirely caused by it. Shoulders lay nicely though! Oh and TV fold should really be reserved for a white linen/cotton pocket square - which would have gone better here anyway.
