1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

I dont know about 15 years ago, but currently itsalmost impossible to find ISAIA with the soft pleated neopolitan shoulder. All their suits have structured lightely padded shoulders (s, sirio etc..) or roped shoulders (gregory). Their dustin and cortina sports coats have no padding but still has structure and the shoulder does not have the "pleats" or shirring i think its called

A very famous clothier told me once that you go up a size every 6 kg, or 13 lbs. I would suggest that in your case, that he was right. Both the shirt and the suit are about 1 size small. I imagine that if you bought a size up, that things would fit a lot better. You might need a bit of waist suppression, even with a suit with a deeper drop (8" is usually the drop for an athletici fit, 7" for European, and 6" for typical American suits), and to have pants taken in, but these are relatively easy things to accomplished.

You are big, but you are certainly not as big as a guy like Dwayne Johnson, and while a lot of his suits in "Ballers" are cut deliberately a bit small to accent his frame, it's clear that he can get a suit tailored that fits his shoulders well:

Hey guys, we're currently staying in a really nice little place in Tuscany taking a bit of downtime before Pitti on Tuesday. I'm hosting Styleforum's Instagram account, where you can see more pictures of bike rides in the hillside villages, food and other niceties. Anyway, today we walked around the courtyard of the place we're staying, taking some pictures:

Delightful indeed Mr. Crust, but a three piece on an 80+ day In NYC? And dancing? I know you're by the water and all, but still, you're gonna be drenched! I guess you have to suffer to look that good ;-)

I see they also have an event in August. Better break out the refrigerated underwear!

Thank you! Yeah, I've been super busy preparing for our trip to Pitti Uomo (we're doing a trunk show with SF affiliates @MILER Menswear), working with some new manufacturers for my brand and other related stuff. I will be posting a great deal in the week to come though, since we'll be covering Pitti for the forum.

I am back from the Jazz Age Lawn Party on Governor's Island, and had the pleasure or meeting An Acute Style and his wife waiting for the ferry going over to the island this morning, and Shen waiting for the ferry homewards this afternoon. Thank you to all who paid me compliments on my attire for today's festivities, and, for the record, I didn't dance, and I did swelter, though mostly on the way back to Manhattan, and in the subway coming homewards - where the party was held was shaded by plane trees, and there was a strong breeze blowing most of the day.

We (my husband and I) opted for the comforts of the VIP area, and one of the freebies for being seated there was a free boutonniere, hence the later photos with floral decorations.

Spoilered for your viewing safety, some lifestyle shots.

Also check the fabric wrinkle measurement test Obelix the westie performed for me when I didn't look for no more than 2 minutes. Luckily the mohair did fine and my Pitti suits survived :D What I like about my dog though is that like a real gentleman, he wouldn't lie just on anything :)

    Christ, enough with the shoulders!

Can't we all just talk about how bad the US (and the Copa as a whole) is when it comes to putting on an entertaining show?!

Note: American here who is an unapologetic hater of any and all things USMNT.

    Not Dogmatix?

Though actually, he probably has a different name in Swedish.
