1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

I tried an outfit with much stronger contrast than my usual blue/light blue, for a change.

    (Apologies for bad light/colors)

Is that a windsor knot on the tie?
Fwiw, I think Flusser's books are much better for concrete tips on what to look for in a jacket etc. Roetzel is more of a... picture book?

    Thanks Ac[IMG]

Although I have lived in the small Essex town that she made home (Witham) for 15 years and her presence is everywhere, I am embarrassed to say I know very little of Dorothy L. Sayers' work.

A model of restrained masculine elegance!
Perfect combination, from the jacket to the trousers; the tie is the cherry on the top :)

After two days of waistcoats and bow ties, I'm wearing neither today. TGIF and all of that.

    Sports jacket - BB MTM
Shirt, tie, trousers, shoes - BB
    PS - no name brand

The jacket is an American classic worn well by many. Though none better than AAS.

I have this jacket (assuming it's PRL, otherwise mine is very similar) but I agree I cannot pull it off as well as AAS!

It looks like it fits snug everywhere, and more than a little. Not good.

Hmm,i work out so my arms will fit the way in most suits unless I buy a grampa suit and get it 3+ my size which then i would have to cut the whole thing so its fits my waist.

similar issues here :))) the shoulder area gets tailored for Justin Biebers.
You would not believe what problem I've had with Levi's 501 (considered a straight leg and comfortable fit).

I'm not going to speculate on how this or that size will look on you, but as of right now, the fit is very bad. I'd suggest going MTM, bespoke, or at least finding a good alterations tailor.
