Just picked this ebay find up from the dry cleaner and took it for a spin today. Thoughts on potential alterations? It is a size bigger than I usually go but I have noticed some tightness in the chest lately in my pictures and figured sizing up wouldn't be a bad idea.

    Hi,

Even though I am not @SYCSYC , I feel I can answer this question on his behalf, as I own the same watch. It is a Seiko SPC087, Quartz-driven chrono.

It is a Caruso-made jacket, Edwin Nazario label. Sadly, I think the shoulders are a tad big but nothing too egregious. The have 0 padding as far as I can tell, but some structure if that makes sense. Thanks for the feedback.

And today. I'm not entirely sure about the way tie, shirt and suit work together, but I was in a rush and couldn't change anything. Any opinions?

@blekit , the paisley tie just looks wrong here. Despite its exuberant pattern, it's strictly a city piece whereas the suit is really quite rustic. As in RUSTic. Geddit? Geddit? Boy, I have a rapier wit on me.

Shoes are not quite right for the same reason. Try burgundy shell tasseks for this suit. And I feel that a windowpane tie with some texture could work here too.

@Coxsackie yeah, I had similar feelings about the tie once I put on a jacket (without it it didn't strike me because shirt is city piece too). Unfortunately didn't have time to act upon this feeling. And regarding the shoes, I think the black oxfords are OK (however ones with quarter or half brogues would probably work even better than plain cap-toe). Burgundy would work too, but it's too cold to wear loafers and I didn't feel like wearing boots today. Brown shoes won't work with this suit in my opinion.
