Wore a very similar version today - and have a couple more in various shades of blue/green. Does BB#1 refer to brooks brothers or the pattern itself? I've certainly noticed no shortage of these available on ebay in a plethora of colors.

I believe it is the 5 alternative stripe pattern as above that is dubbed BB1 but also introduced by BB. Historians of Trad would know better.

Actually, since moving back to the US Claghorn has been showing his feet. I suspect surgery of some sort was involved; Dallas has some top-notch transplant surgeons I've been told.

Be that as it may, the DTO above is a pretty exact copy of one of C. Horn's fit pictures—feet, shoes and all.

Cheers,

Ac

Very good, Gerry.

Just one nitpick - if you really want to imitate Claghorn, you should be carrying your shoes in your hand, rather than your bag!

Shoes in hand is only for the indoor pics. This was the picture that inspired it (including shoes)

I rambled a bit on tumblr, but what it comes down to is that I think I went too bold with the tie, and it ends up too splashy for the DB jacket.
