1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

This is a useful analysis, but I think UC's photography is just excellent, which triggers a reactive thumbs up from me anyway.

Wednesday of last week. I meant to enter this into the Friday challenge, but I got busy. Not that it stood a chance.

That's disappointing. I do like a good, sharp, well composed photo just like the next man, but I'd hope that thumbs are given or not given based on style. You know because it's Style Forum. Not that I like MrVenneri's outfit or dislike UC's. Flying Monkey typically has terrible photos, but great fits. It's unfortunate to think he's not getting thumbs because of photography. Even though it may be true.

    Excellent remarks.

Also, UC's PS is the Drake's mughal print wool. Great PS i have the exact colorway. Very versatile.

@Claghorn No tractor, but you can at least see suburban decay. That shed needs paint.

Great jacket, @An Acute Style , but i think it would have been better w/o the pullover underneath...or at least a different color. Rest is spot on imho.

You should certainly enter this week´s FC, @YRR92 - nice fit!

Superb as always, Pliny - with the exception, on this occasion, of the shirt, which just seems a bit lacklustre. Not by any means bad, just not as excellent as the other elements of your fit.

Layering... Unsure if done right, though... Belt buckle appearing seems no good for example.

I'll let you gents thumb-judge the outfit!

I think this is a great example of how to wear a bold striped shirt well. The navy, pink and grey work really well together and are quite subdued on their own.
If you ever buy new glasses, I'd strongly recommend looking at green ones. Could be great.
Ugly wholecuts aside I really, really like this.

Thank you, Sander - coming from someone with your sense of style, that is a true compliment indeed.

^ I like this, but think there is too much contrast with the pants. I like high rise pants, but not how long the tie is.

Agreed, the top block is too many dark tones, it creates cognitive dissonance with the bottom half and spoils what would otherwise be a nice high waisted pant, calling undue attention to it and making it look more geriatric than it is.
