An unfortunate choice to be sure but I don't think it quite rises to the level of hideousness.

That's a hideous knot, to be honest.

An unfortunate choice to be sure but I don't think it quite rises to the level of hideousness.

As a mathematical demonstration of the (n+1)-colour map theorem in n-dimensional space, it's a triumph.

However, I would have picked a mono-coloured, textured tie and plain shirt to demonstrate my topological prowess.

That is a very diplomatically-worded comment, Cox!

Shave.

Or grow a beard if you must.

I can hold back no longer Clags. The outfit is up to your usual high standard but that ginger fungus is 'orrible!

It's one of my pet peeves that somehow going about in this demi monde state has become acceptable in today's world. Maybe I'm just a grouchy old pest (probably) but with history in the military this would never be allowed, nor was it seen as acceptable by many / any of the classic menswear dudes we revere and often aspire to emulate. I saw this trend in the eighties with George Michael and Miami Vice, then it disappeared when it became trendy to poke fun at the eighties, but now it's back with a vengeance.

These days I've been shaving once every two weeks or so. With two periods of 5-6 weeks between shaves. It's nice. It has nothing to do with wanting to look a certain way. Everything to do with hating shaving. I followed that shaving pattern all throughout college until I had to shave at least every other day for a job. I just don't particularly like having a beard for more than a week or two either.

So. Yeah. Stubble stays. Fortunately, it isn't thick enough (or I just have light hair) to get that sweet 80s George Michael look.

I know this is good, but imo your pic game has been slipping, from admittedly stellar heights.

I agree 100%. I've not been to happy about it. Just experimenting for a bit. I may just go back to the chair if I don't find something I'm really content with by fall.

Great colour combination!
BTW, I have a feeling Ring can exist from your orders alone ;)

Thank you sir!
Its just hard to say no when the fit is almost spot on and so comfortable. Ive been looking for my next project but everything that I want is not in a price range I can justify which makes it difficult

I got this mid-weight Johnstons of Elgin box check cashmere thru Fadi Kabbani.
Recommend him for quality cloth at decent prices. Got an unfunded & even heavier weight (14 oz) cashmere in a lighter tan with a lite blue deco that I'll get made eventually, but that will be my last 100% cashmere coat I think. It just doesn't drape as well as wool, or rather it drapes too much, kinda like a blanket. Super warm tho, cashmere is best worn right against the skin without lining IMO, so better for pull-overs etc.
Hober madder, Kamakura and puffed ivory silk square.

Very nice cloth! Johnstons of Elgin is nice. Have you tried the tweeds?

Curiously enough, the cashmere beanies I recently purchased from @Henry Carter turned out to be from Johnstons of Elgin too.
