Horrible fit aside (no fault to GuP or Papa GuP and horrible even accounting for Papa GuP's build), both seem to have a decent handle on dressing conservatively.

    Remake or refund.

I think @David Reeves made the right choice getting out of the MTM game. I suspect many of the skills acquired as a bespoke tailor/fitter or whatever DR does do not translate perfectly to MTM. I doubt someone like Kent Wang (or whoever does measurements for him) could jump to measuring for bespoke without a pretty hefty learning curve.

I’ve said it before: that Daniel Craig poseur had better watch his back.

You’re looking at the next Bond, gentlemen.

    Cheers,

Thank you; that’s kind of you.

Unfortunately it’s just an old MTM. I’ve got a couple others made in very similar patterns. This one happens to be the darkest, however, so it’s the one I pull out when I have reason to combine gravitas with a bit of flamboyance. A committee meeting yesterday was such an occasion.

    Cheers,

    Ac

Yeah of course. It's distinctively different, but not look-at-me different. Gravitas + a little flamboyance = cool in my book. Nice man… thanks.

Nah - the bag isn't sagging enough to be holding a firearm of such weight.

Inside Victor's bag is in fact a small lead-lined capsule containing an even smaller pellet of polonium.

They make long sizes. I'm 6-3 or 4ish and the 52L works for me.

Here's what I'm wearing tomorrow. The Friday Challenge is to style oneself after a historical personage or a painting. As I've got an early morning tomorrow, I decided to be creative this evening. Results are as below.

    Suit - BB MTM
    Shirt - Ike Behar
    Tie - Turnbull & Asser
    Vintage watch chain
    Cufflinks - Penhaligon's
    Braces - BB
    Shoes - C & J
