Any chance of a full shot, with pantaloons?
Alwaus awsm GMMCL
FWIW I dont much like GW's loafer look either really. Sockless, they rally need a super cas topside imo, and not with high hems unless youre @ pitti
I wear no-show socks and loafers frequently during the summer. It's a staple North East preppy look, so I don't find GMMs bare ankles jarring at all. I do think that the grey pants are what makes it look more formal, though, and might make the socklessness appear incongruous. With linen, chinos, Nantucket reds, etc I don't think it would have been noticed especially.
Just my 2c.
Hang on. Aren't we, like, at Pitti? Like, always?
In the recursive #pittireality
That would be pitiable.
Fwiw, I would have preferred laceups in PGs fit as well.
Let this be a lesson to sock lovers everywhere, it is better to wear no socks than the wrong ones.
A rainy day in Soho? No, just feels like it.

Friday: old tie that I forgot that I owned. Rumpled, old, Brooks Bros OCBD. Much needed mid morning cuppa.
one should wear "invisible" socks when going for the sockless look. much more comfortable IMO. I am "sockless" today with stone chinos and snuff suede loafers. I am sparing all you ankle haters the photo.
Whoa...no socks + sweat = B.O.
