@justinkapur what's the fabric on your new DB? Love the buttons and patch pockets.

No biggie if someone else gets to it first, but I actually started the next batch last night. Still need to spend a few more minutes on it. We're over a month back chronologically so someone else can do the next batch right on the heels of the one I do. Will have it live by tomorrow!

Thanks, JCM. I'll do one in the next couple of days as well.

Hopefully the 20TT will pick up again during fall, but I am pleased that everyone feels they can do one: the whole point of it was to have an objective standard (though thumbs themselves are subjective, a standard based on count is not) which allows pretty much anyone to compile the fits.

It removes the personal element that TRINI, gdl, and recently UC brought to their various curated threads, however. I guess if people doing the compiling wrote a bit about what they liked (sort of an expanded prize section), that might compensate a bit.

I'll put in a shift on the 20TT this weekend, too. I've always liked how that thread allows us to see what common elements or spontaneous themes emerge among fits that by consensus we consider to be good.

I was the last two weeks on vacation in Seoul and also some days in Tokyo. So the next days I'll annoy you with a flood of pictures. [IMG] Let's start with my visit (and first fitting) at B&Tailor, after that we had some great dinner together with Chad and Chang Jin Park.

@justinkapur outstanding DB, really nice piece.

@Claghorn your fit today is stunning, I like a lot.

@Koala-T as I stated before, I think solid colors look very good on you, today's fit is one of your bests. Keep it up!

@An Acute Style I like your orange cardigan fit from yesterday. Although I would have not chosen such a saturated orange but still looks nice. Today's fit is different thing enterily. All pieces are nice separately but all together looks really "busy".

@SYCSYC using those rounder shoes makes the fit whole for me... perfect.

I am missing a lot of you guys from commeting but today was a very good day...

Too bad I missed you by a week. I was there up until the 29th (of Sept). While you're there, try visiting one of the mountains if you're into that.

Love everything here except the tie, but it is still on the evil genius end of the spectrum rather than the truly heinous.

If the tie would have matched more (Brown/navy shantung/grenadine) it would have been something styled from a catalogue.
I don't like fits that lack personality; this heinous tie gives the outfit personality. Like.

I thought that it was clear that was saying that it was genius not heinous, but that I just don't personally like it. I certainly wouldn't want it to match <shudder>. In my view, @DiplomaticTies has arrived here with a bang as one of the most intelligent dressers on the forum.
