Weather in NY is one of two things:
    1. Fuck, it's hot
    2. Fuck, it's cold

Yep, NSM via Ed. I believe the fabric is a Loro Piana wool/cashmere.

It is a lovely jacket and a great fit. I read somewhere that it's always flannel in San Francisco. Or something like that, more elegantly phrased.

Wow, thanks gentlemen for all the thumbs on yesterday's fit! I feel honoured.

Today it's back to the slightly more outré Cox you all know and, er, love.

If I may ask, what means this combination? How are both involved exactly?

Anyways, superb fit. You too, Cleav.

Excellent suit and tie, Justin, but Im not sure I am feeling the PS and shirt there.

Another winner! May I ask about the watch? I see a moon phase complication, of which I am a big fan.

Its dry cleaning time and that was closest to solid blue I had without a stripe which I figure would be a bit too much. Pocket square came off more red than burgundy but I can see where the contrast might be too strong

Thanks! The watch is Tianjin's finest: a Sea-Gull M199S chronograph with date and moonphase. The base chrono movement, the ST-19, is essentially identical to the legendary Venus 175 chrono movement from the 40s and 50s - Venus actually sold all the tooling for this movement to Sea-Gull (at that time the Tianjin Watch Company) in the late 50s. There's an interesting and quite detailed history of the movement here.

I believe the date and moonphase modules may be Sea-Gull's own design, but I'm not 100% sure about this. Anyway, it's a lovely watch, even if the movement finishing is a little rough.

It looks great. I have a Seagull movement in a G.Gerlach m/s Batory watch. The rotor is a bit noisy, but it's a solid timepiece. Thanks for the details!

Ed was selling that jacket over at B&S - too bad I didn't pull the trigger.
