    Thnx, @sugarbutch !

That´s what i am talking bout, @Coxsackie ...flannels and suede chelseas...here you go!

    Very nice fit, @Claghorn !

That thing is on fire, @DonCologne ! Very nice getup, like it. A lot.

Lovely jacket - tie - pocket square combo, @Spandexter !

    Nailed it, @UrbanComposition !

Lovely tie - would have chosen another pocket square, though...it´s a bit too close the tie´s design, in my eyes...still: nice kit, @dazedstate !

Worn over the past couple days...

I have a jacket in the works like that. I feel vindicated to know that the end product will look good.

That cap... Pulling. It. Off. This look and my love of "Peaky Blinders" has me looking at caps for the fall and winter, now.

Both DonC and VictorSF look really good in baker's-boy caps (or whatever they're called) because they have square faces with strong jawlines.

    I look ridiculous in one.

The top half is fantastic, Don, but I just can't get used to your bright coloured trousers. It completely breaks the look, IMO. I know it's your thing, but why not try something more in line with the rest, like this:

Don't agree with this critique. I am not au fait with DonC's other looks but this particular one works for me. It is a congrous look. Not something i'd wear personally but it works and the ochre-coloured hue makes a nice change of pace. The photoshopped olive cords OTOH is too studied.

Agreed, a pair of olive cords would make this outfit too murky. The orange trousers compliment the top well, while providing some much needed contrast. All of this is of course IMHO, YMMV et c.

    Thanks!

Totally understand and agree - in addition to a thorough sanitizing, no-show socks work excellently here. But would never pass on Aldens with 3-5 wears on them at $20.

Oh those, I have those too. In fact mine are good to go to a good home, once worn, no reasonable offer refused! I thought the question related to the suede Chelsea boots [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]
