My IMO doesn't agree with his MO. :nodding:

Green jacket with gold buttons isn't out there. But green, gold, navy, purple, white, brown, stripe, solid, plaid, floral all together is. In the fine words of An Acute Style, in response to my first post here, " ... don't aim for approval. Do you. Take the advice that suits you." I'm not going to stress if people don't agree with me... An Acute Style didn't seem to worry when I don't agree with him. :)

I neglected to choose slim fit pants so I need to have the legs brought in a couple of inches maybe shorten them a tad and also some waist suppression.

I think they did ok for the first go. I'm 6'0 285lbs so i was quite nervous before the suit arrived.

ok, I just thought the looked slightly big. the waist and hips fit perfectly. overall for the money spent and the fact that it's an online mtm i think it turned out ok

Styling wise, I think the lapel can be wider to fut your frame. Fit wise, a little allowance can be added to the chest and sleeves can be cleaned up a little bit but for online mtm it's a decent effort.

Thanks for the advice. I'll take note for my next order. I'm still kinda new to this.

    +1 to all points.

Yes, they are on the wide side, but if you take them in chances are the whole suit will be quite top-heavy. Like this, the silhouette is more balanced.

+1 to the gentlemen above. FWIW, I think it's a wonderful effort for an online MTM without any alterations yet. As suggested, I would leave the trousers like this, too. Otherwise, it might accentuate the top portion and make you look top-heavy (I am personally 6' ex-265lbs, now-235lbs still loosing, so I know how hard it can be to dress our frames). Wider lapels might balance out the proportions, too!

This is only minor nit-pick but I would also leave the lapel buttonière the same color as the jacket.

About the buttoniére, the stitch was only supposed to be on the last sleeve button. I'll specify it more clearly on my next order

Red and Green is one heck of a risky move, but if there were a book on how to do it, this would be the first chapter...well done @Braddock
