As a matter of fact, I just started a new shirt yesterday and asked the maker to increase the collar band by 3/8" so we'll see how it goes! You had given me feedback like this, including a thumb comment when those were all the rage, and I think you're right... so thank you.

Finally getting some stripes (butcher? bengal? I can't remember which is which but basically the same as you're wearing in that last shot only blue). Trying a slightly curved collar with a pretty standard spread as well with this one. Should have it in a few weeks. :)

It's a very subtle Prince of Wales pattern. H. Lesser 13 oz book.

    Thanks!

@Pliny thank you! The cloth is by Marzotto. It's a pretty sturdy pure wool with a very fine gold check running through it.

The suit is only from M&S's Collezione range - I've noticed recently they've started using some pretty high quality Italian cloths in that range from people like VBC, Marzotto and sometimes Zegna. It's priced pretty fairly too.

    We know this. :)

That would work, too. I don't happen to own one of those, but was thinking about ordering some yesterday in fact.

Thank you for the comment ! I was hoping that the contrast was not so low. Darker brown linen is my main option. For the fit (SuitSupply Havana), except for the sleeves I found too big, I don't have another idea (my right shoulder is also lower). I was thinking to buy a Sienna on SuitSupply website for job interview but maybe I'll avoid.

With this jacket, the contrast is probably much better ! Japanese size for the jacket (so short) but I like it a lot.

@SFNeutrino I like where you're going with that outfit. Pocket square is a really nice choice, it matches very well. [IMG]

Your current shoes and trousers are nice but maybe they look a little too casual - I think you could still pull something more formal off. Perhaps some more formal trousers and some shoes with a thinner sole?

Thank you for the advice. I didn't think it looked too bad, but the yellow tie is extremely thin, so I preferred the green one. Will try it again soon!
