I like that a lot (a whole lot). I realize that there is only so much available in terms of RTW ties, but I'd definitely be on the look out for wider ties. It's the element of your fits that always seems to detract from everything else. I recall you mentioning that you've got a fairly broad chest, right?

Braces! Is that a relatively rare element for you? I can't recall seeing you in any before.

I might have avoided neat/neat for the tie/PS, but the color combination between the two is so great it's hard to argue with it. Bang up job, GM.

Wow. Best look I've seen you in. At least the among the ones that I can remember. [IMG]
Seems like someone lost a good amount of weight.

Still got to improve the photography. I know iPhone selfies won't cut it for long.

    Thanks guys.
Tie was love at first sight on ebay. Drakes for Marinella bought for a song. Ironically clags it was 4.25 wide and I slimmed it myself down to 3.5 based on Shibumi dimensions.
Yes I'm more athletically built -- drop 8 or 10 on a 42 chest. While 3.25 ties definitely push it I dint think 3.5 ties (as this is) look disproportionate irl. But it's hard to be objective about these things.
Keep in mind this is a Paul stuart/Samuelsohn suit and, while great, the shoulder drape isn't perfect which does funny things to the chest/tie proportions.
    anyway, appreciate the kind words.
    Viva summer break!

Consistently some of the best DB odd jackets I've seen, Betel.

The pants fall a little better than they appear, but the overhead sunlight exaggerates any wrinkles.

Can anyone tell me the name of this weave? Someone recently told me it is called pineapple grenadine, but I'm not sure that is a real thing. Thanks.

Dunno what it's called but I like the tie. I like the fit of that jacket a lot better than the other one, too.

Grenadine fina or piccola, can't see on my phone. Here's a chart for you for the sake of comparison: https://www.samhober.com/grenadine.htm

From David's chart, it seems closest to prometeo, but I'm not really sure. In fact, I'm not sure it is a grenadine weave.
