In reading WAYWRN from the beginning, I remember seeing at least three pages dedicated to that discussion. While I've never truly polished these shoes, I used Saphir Renovatour on them this morning, which gave them a decent luster. Because it was pouring when I got up this morning, I wore my I-don't-care-if-I-destroy-them beater shoes.

Whoaaa, then I take it back; don't post here anymore! ;)

Yeah, was thinking it might have been the width of the tie. I find it hard to do 4IH with anything too skinny or that tapers a lot, so I'll usually use a half-windsor at that point but I'll still try to avoid making it too symmetrical, which is really more of the issue on this one than the size of the knot.

I am amazed how many people I see wearing their suit/sport coat while driving.

How does one go about making a half Windsor asymmetrical?

Edit: I'm not sure how I managed that emoji, but it's pretty great.

I do it, depending on the length of the drive. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Why are you amazed? Do you expect men to remove their jackets whenever they sit?

No, but the seat belt adds another variable. Additionally, I find it much more comfortable.

Seems to fit very well. Not bad for straight OTR.

Button is tugging ever so slightly, but I certainly think it's acceptable. You may consider having it let out an inch, but no more. (Sometimes you can just move the button over a little.) If it doesn't tug most of the time, leave it alone.

    Overall it's quite good.

I think this is yet another post that calls out for the SKRWT app, though. This is an iPhone photo, yes? Your proportions look a little weird, but I'm fairly sure that's all due to the camera; the app can remove some of the fisheye lens's tendency to turn you into a human lollipop when your head is near the edge of the frame.

If you see a sort of David Niven character in a cat burglar getup, don't be alarmed IT'S JUST ME BREAKING INTO YOUR HOUSE AND STEALING THIS

Very nice, @Anden. I especially like the tie.
