As always, thanks to everyone who likes my pictures and even more thanks to everyone who takes the time and trouble to post pictures of themselves.

Following up on my last post, here's a picture showing how someone who is 5'6" tall and 68 years old can use an Albert knot and get a tie to come out nearly the right length and not have to do any tail-tucking. The tie is a Brooks Brothers silk Grenadine tie that I got before the internet was invented, so I had never heard of Grenadine. It was just another tie when I got it. After the internet was invented, people told me that it was something called Grenadine.

Brooks Brothers wool and polyester (from those wonderful pre-OPH days when polyester was good) blue blazer, anemia pink PPBD shirt, and Grenadine tie, Squarextraordinaire pocket square, Leatherman patchwork Madras belt, Hamilton 992B pocket watch and chain, Orvis trousers, and Allen-Edmonds walnut Lombards.

(For those who might be wondering, it was around 85F here this morning when I took this picture.)

Your RR cred is well established with the mention of the finest timepiece my father ever carried!! He, his father and two brothers worked freight for AT&SF in Texas during the 40s-70s.

I'm waiting for my youngest son to graduate out of diapers so I can spend that money to score another one for myself!

He felt he had reached his SF apex.

I dont think he specifically deleted them from SF. Probably just cleared what he had photobucket/imgur/whatever, to create space, which by default makes all those embedded links die.

What jacket do your think would go better with the pants?

That jacket is manageable but I would skip the tie and the vest

Go all out FU madras. Or tone it down with navy?

Maybe that's it, but it's a bit too much contrast for me.
