Looking good, Victor - I prefer you without the beard.

The sun has returned to NYC, and with it milder temperatures. Let me look a bit more seasonally appropriate than I have done to date this spring.

    Suit - Paul Stuart
    Shirt - BB
    Tie - Lewin
    PS - Alain Figaret
    Cufflinks - M P Levene, London
    Braces - New & Lingwood
Shoes - Florsheim Royal Imperial (Magnanni)
Cologne (with a nod to Victor, as he lists his colognes/perfumes) - Hamman Bouquet, Penhaligon's

I think we should draw a line across your crotch just to be sure. [IMG]

Better still, have your 'young, attractive, definitely 100% female secretary' do it for you, just to underline - literally - that you do not personally draw lines on other men's crotches!

@TwoStep Is that a Boggi jacket? If so I have the same one. The woven fabric is awesome, wears like a cardigan.

Apologies for the crappy iPhone pics...I'm working on a "good" reason for the wife and I to buy a camera and tripod. So far, "so I can show the guys on SF what I'm wearing today" ain't cuttin' it!

    Burberry London jacket
    no-name PS
    John W Nordstrom shirt
    Hardy Amies tie
    LL Bean trousers
    Happy Socks
    AE Park Ave shoes

I read the pants as solid gray. Not keen on the matching, but there are worse sins. Upon revisiting, I think the sweater may be the real issue. The cream and stripes don't really work here. (The shirt isn't great for this use, either)

I'd like to pause and express my extreme distaste for silk squares under 14" (and even that's borderline). I find it categorically impossible to keep these in any semblance of a puff. No matter how they're stuffed or contorted, they either explode out into a linear shape, or unravel into entirely homogenous concave shapes immediately upon insertion. I own 2, and that's 2 too many. /endrant.

IDK about those shoes, @GMMcL . I think they're a notch too casual, and a bit too American for the top half. I'm wearing something similar with dark brown chelseas today, but I'm in a rumpled OCBD and a tie with giraffes on it, so I'm messing with the framework in a different manner.

And I'm down with silk squares under 14", but I have a 36" chest so...

Not new, but it is E-F-V though. Had it made, as a one off, for last summer's Pitti. Will hopefully have a few linen suits ready by June, in a new model (very limited edition/limited sizes et c).

    SFers,

Don't forget to enter our SF Gallery Contest for a chance to win a $200 gift card to Opumo and/or a custom title....for those who don't know what that is, look under my username and you'll see "The Moral Squirrel".

For you guys that are camera shy or feel awkward taking selfies (because it is awkward), the clothing grid category is for you. Lay your outfit on the floor and snap a picture, it's that simple. Create your gallery and submit your entry following the instructions in the announcement here:

    http://www.styleforum.net/a/stylefo...t-certificate-to-opumo-com-and-a-custom-title

If you have any questions, feel free to ask me or @Cleav in the applicable thread. Best of luck.

    Cheers,

    Squirly Murl
