I think Stitchy's trousers are cut perfectly. Slimmer will make him look top heavy.

For the challenge (pants worn as part if a suit last week)

Patterned trousers/odd jacket combinations aren’t easy to pull off. This one’s lovely. Keeping the top half muted lets the trousers do their thing without apology or competition. Beautiful.

    Cheers,

    Thanks for the compliments, iGents!

I will agree that I think the fuller pants are proper with this suit. Even if only because they are obscenely more comfortable than slimmer trousers.

CM, I have posted in this suit a total of 3 times. I think because I post less fits, and because the fabric is so distinctive, it stands out in your mind more. As far as a One Suit, I dont believe in such a thing, but this one is quite versatile imho.

I had the identical reaction to M Six's fit; was slightly taken aback by the strong contrast between top and bottom and felt like more of a medium grey would be the better approach (though I can appreciate that he's saying the jacket's not quite as dark as it appears due to lighting).

It's funny, since I recognize the trousers from your suit, it registers as being somehow off when I see it paired this way. Perhaps I'm too linear in my thinking.

This is pretty accurate, for those who care about these nits (which includes me).

That's the donkey twill from Panta...very similar in color to the Rota fawn that NMWA carried. Great combo, 6.

Though I think that suit has been featured in his last three CM fits (or maybe 3 of the last 4). Who doesn't like playing with their newest toy? He's been posting other stuff on SWD
