@The Noodles very nice, inspiration from that fit @kulata posted in the GNAT? The colour coordination with the blossom in the background is lovely.
@Pliny cool lapels on that suit!
@merick that's a very nice SC, but I feel the tie is a bit too smooth and formal. Also very OT: which part of Arnhem do you live in? I used to have family in Arnhem, so I've been there often.
Quote: Thank you for the feedback! I can see a knitted tie work better
Spijkerbuurt, Velperpoort station
Linen, Shantung and Chambray. Any suggestions with this tie are welcomed, despite the image the shirt is light blue, but I cannot seem to find a great combo for this tie. Thanks! DL-
For the youngsters reading this thread, Roycru is referring to the case of Cheryl Crane, daughter of Lana Turner, who stabbed to death Lana's then boyfriend Johnny Stompanato. FYI, when last I heard, Cheryl Crane is a real estate broker in Hawaii. For time perspective, I was a very little nipper when the incident occurred, and I believe that Roycru was a mere lad when it happened as well.
Upr-crust is correct. At the event, someone said that Cheryl Crane had gone into real estate. The book is "Night, Night, Sleep Tight".
April showers makes for green grass. And green jackets.
I think a brown jacket or suit would work really well.
Great day of posts so far. You guys are on your A game!
I don't know what the heck is out your window but I like your straight on shots, not the "I am looking at something out the window" shot.
Don Cologne, I rarely see you recycle a tie or a suit. I am imagining a room dedicated just to your wardrobe.
Spring is still nowhere in sight round these parts...
Agreed. Ice cream for everyone!
Born in the late '70s in Finland, I have no memories of the incident at all, but the characters have been immortalized by James Ellroy, to be sure.
Is the tie from Will Boehlke at ASW? I like it a lot, although I see it might be difficult to pair.
