@VictorSFreturn I like that overcoat a lot. I know it is bespoke, but do you have any more details or photos?

I wonder if the patterns on the shirt and jacket here are too similar in scale. Comes off as busy, and while the tie and and square do well against the business, I feel there's too much going on between shirt and jacket.

The raincoat is many years old, though not as old as the movie :).

As for today's socks, my normal impulse would be to wear darker socks with this outfit, but, as it happens, I wore plain dark brown socks the last two days running, and today's socks were the last unworn pair of a gift of seven pairs of Pantherellas I received from a friend a few months ago, so I wore them.

Thank you. What exactly are You interested in? On the fabric - in my opinion this is the cotton from Holland & sherry. Catalogue number fabric and density will write later. The lining is made of silk, sleeve lining from Cupra or rayon. The removable collar, on the back of the collar and on the inside of the Cabinet is made of blue leather. The same leather trimmed inset side seams stalemates at the waist. These stalemates are fastened by buttons and stalemates on the sleeves. Stalemates have a decorative function. But stalemates are also useful for adjusting the waist size and the width of the sleeves. Don't know what else to tell about this coat. :)

    Edit: fabric - H&S 185506, cotton, 460/480 g.m.

Very great combo. I like the play of colors and textures of all the elements. Maybe I could try would be to wear black shoes in this outfit, but it's to my taste :embar:

I could see that -- black string suede loafers. Yup, definitely. Or gray suede chukkas. Great suggestion, thanks.

My opinion: suede shoes will not be very good. Too many matte textures. I would put on a leather brogues(closer to the classics) or monk strap with buckles(closer to "Pitty") :embar:

Thank you, @GMMcL, @EliodA, and @Pliny. I do see what you mean - and I actually have a small head so the fact that it looked big is kinda funny. Long neck though for sure, so I'll see about taller collars. I just took all the collar stays out of my shirts, which is giving them nicer, more natural lines, but they aren't sitting as high. Now where's that bottle you spoke of, GM?

I won't bore everyone here with more of my proportional woes being a short dude, and pics are better anyway, but suffice it to say that OTR is nearly impossible for CM clothes. Getting closer, though, and I knew full well what I was jumping into by posting. Hopefully it helps a few people at or near my level gain something.

GM, if it's ok, I may reach out via PM to try to better understand your feedback. Thanks again!
