For what reason?
Why, Pliny? BTW, congrats on your 3000th post
I do this too. Linen sleeves rumple up and end up looking shorter. Cotton less so, but still more than tweed or flannel IMHO (then you have to account for differences between different fabric weights).
Edit. AAS, keep the hat as is. Looks great on you, but I'd love to see it in one of your more subdued fits.
Yes, that makes sense to me. But then you'd hem sleeves and trousers a bit longer, while @Pliny says he's making them shorter.
True, shorter sleeves definitely feel cooler.
Been busy lately but I lurk almost everyday. Fantastic fits lately.
Today I'm in a suit. Monochrome.

@Betelgeuse Is that a brown tie or a burnt olive tie? Either way, a superb tie choice here.
@Anden agreed, the fits have been at an all-time high for the first time in probably 7 years. Your tie seems too dark and similar to the tone of the suit here. It looks a bit undertaker-ish or, with that kind of collar spread, manservant-ish. Also, don't mean to pile on, but I think glasses with less vertical profile would fit the size of your facial features better.
Definitely works for you! Now to get one in black watch. (half kidding, navy or dark brown would also look great, I think)
I like the lower button point and longer length. Shoulders not necessarily though it by no means looks bad.
I was just about to buy that washing machine/cellphone/life insurance from you, but then I saw that collar spread. Sorry sir, no can do.

Looking great, Victor. Love the combination of mid grey trousers and dark brown SC. I use it quite often myself.
