1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

Noodles, dip a cotton ball in hydrogen peroxide, available at a pharmacy for less than a dollar. Rub it into the blood mark and it will disappear with no damage to your suit. Trust me.

    Here's me yesterday.
Basically wearing what I wear everyday—Eidos jacket, Red Fleece chinos, OCBD or variation thereof, absurd amounts of wristraff, suede loafers and my dad's Omega watch. My wife and I may have been a little drunk when we took these pics…:slayer:

This is where I come to say:

That's a bunch of pure BS. Why the fudge have you been posting pics of yourselves here then?

And what an elaborately planned fraud. Move the infant W to Midland, send him to Sam Houston elementary school, then a couple years at Kincaid High School in Houston.

Even if you dock him for his time at school up east and his time in Washington he has still spent over 50 (of his 68) years residing in Texas. I'm no fan* of the man but calling him a fake Texan is about as silly as calling Obama a fake American.

*If not the worst President in U.S. history, certainly in the top five, IMO.

Except that the Bush family is originally from Greenwich, CT and he was born there...he still has the home there where he often visits...Bush's grandfather Prescott was a CT senator...Bush met his wife at their country club in Greenwich...his father (the prez) grew up there and spent much of his life there...his uncle lived there his entire life and ran a major insurance firm...and numerous family members still live there.

I see the shirt placket as killing an otherwise fine look.

Not to stoke the flames here but I agree that where you identify from is more of a factor of how long you've been there and in what stages of your life you resided there. I think being born somewhere is pretty insignificant. Visiting and having numerous family members with history in a state is just symptomatic of having extended family there
