1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

^ @GuP - The suit looks good in general, but there's something peculiar going on with the right shoulder/sleevehead.

There's some pulling/rippling at the top of the sleeve that shouldn't be there and which is not there on the other sleeve (well, there's a slight ripple on the left sleeve, but much less marked than the right sleeve).

Thanks again to those who like my pictures and to those who post pictures of themselves.

One of my parent's friends had some sort of kidney disease and her doctor told her to drink lots of champagne to keep her kidneys flushed out. I don't remember what the kidney disease was called and I don't have any sort of kidney problems but an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure at the end of the day.

Brooks Brothers Brooksease navy chalk stripe suit, Brooksease PPBD graph check shirt, repp tie, and Irish linen handkerchief, and somewhere out of sight, a black calf Brooks Brothers belt, black socks, and black Allen-Edmonds for Brooks Brothers Strands.....

@Roycru that looks to be a little bit more than an ounce of prevention.... Santé!

Def on the bold side-but not unwearable in the right context IMO .. 7/10 where white might be 9/10, cream, 8/10, sand 5/10 and tan or wheat 4/10

I'm keen for this config in the wheat Fresco [IMG]

Agree. You should not have left looking like that.

The weather has dried out in NYC, but remains spring-like cool (which is fine by me). Today's attire reflects both conditions.

    Suit - BB Regent
    Shirt - Lewin
    Tie - BB
    PS - Robert Talbott
    Cufflinks - BB
Shoes - Harris, via Barney's, Boston

I like to think I do my best for all my clients. MTM obviously has limitations when compared with making a pattern like we do in bespoke. I tried to explain this before we started but the budget would not stretch that far. I no longer do MTM at all. Its always going to be a compromise, do I think it's a bad MTM? Made in England, Multiple fittings and Barberis cloth for 1500? I'll leave that for you to decide but it can never fit like well done Bespoke. Of course nothing stands up to style forum scrutiny.

And more importantly, the tailor should not have allowed him to leave the shop.
