light skinned joos cannot wear stark outfits? :(
:quote]

That would leave the Hasidim very much in the sartorial lurch (not that they would notice, in general . . . )

I do think they are the same thing. I might just be a bit

ish about patch pockets. However, I do agree that it doesn't detract from the success of the suit - simply because it's not a suit you will use for business.
Agreed (no surprise). However, I'm probably going to do something similar for the lack of option. Going to drop a suit length of a dark navy linen and silk blend to my tailor. I intend to wear the jacket as a sports coat, however, I'm aware that the color isn't optimal (a lighter shade would be better). Thus I'm going back and forth with the configurations, so far: welt breast, patch on hips, notch, three sleeve buttons (standard for a Uruguayan sports coat).

Another elevator pic:
I know you've heard it before, from me. But I'll say it one last time.

You shouldn't buy SuitSupply again. It's not flattering with such a high button stance. You should stick to Kent Wang.

Actually I was thinking Donuts when I saw that pic.. where did you get that? Comment still stands.

I mean that thing is really high.

Welt breast and patch hip pockets sounds fine to me on a linen suit. Have you considered a single sleeve button? Someone posted something like that a couple days ago (don't recall who) and I think it looked nice.

That's a bespoke Pal Zileri suit, I do wear other brands than just SS ;) Button stance is less than 2 inches above my belly button. It's just exaggerated because I'm holding my arm in an unnatural pose. If I stand naturally you won't see any tie or belt peeping out.

You see, no tie or belt:

Bonus detail shot to show the suit/tie texture (tie isn't nearly as read irl, first two pictures are way more accurate):

There's no way that pose changed the fit that much.

See my last post, I think it does.
You're right, it changes it. I still say that's a high button stance. But not as high as it appears with the jacket open like in the first pic.

It is near impossible to actually get a proper representation of fit when you're holding the camera yourself taking the picture. There is almost no point in critiquing fit from a selfie.

Especially when taking a rushed shot in the elevator because you're afraid of people catching you in the act ;)
