I use Psilocybin instead.

Edit: Brain fart "reply" to "Is everyone on this thread using psyllium?"

Still a little cold for loafers without socks, but I'm not a *****, unlike UC.

Mostly neutral, with a splash of sarcasm.  We mostly see you in your dark business suit and white hank every day, so I wondered if you really let down your hair on weekends and wear tie-dyed shirts and Birkenstocks, that sort of thing.

oh
well i just dropped off a gray glen plaid suit at the tailor today ... so that should mix it up a bit
but with my complexion and hair color, i look best in darker suits so that's what i stick with
and i have failed miserably trying to match my more colorful pocketsquares so i've been sticking with the trusty white linen more these days
but i think i will try less "matching" and just wear some more color in the ps and see what happens

Well, why don't you come to our LA meet-up on the 25th and find out?

but but ... i was going to come decked out in my best conservative business dress effort

Why on earth would you think romeo would want to do that sprout??

He has style my boy, and if not, at least he is trying!! :nodding:

Why dont you try too, then we would have less tie-dyed shirts to look at.

You two look very cute together. Was that before or after you watched "My Sassy Girl" together?

BTW, I think zefina quoted acecow, if I remember correctly. All in good fun.

I just sold my loafers. They were black AEs. The most uncomfortable shoes EVAR.

the tie is Panta and I did a crappy job with it.

Beautiful fabric.
I would favor a straight collar, but you make a strong argument for the style of a button down. It is part of the details that makes this overall look noteworthy, genuine, and honest.
A tie knot ought not be too perfect.

Is that all the shirts that you own? Shame on you. Shame.

I fear that this suffers from that strange sameness of tonality and scale of pattern (houndstooth on trousers, small houndstooth or grain on jacket) that we discussed before. If I were you I would have gone much lighter on the trousers.

Thanks for the critique, but I believe the bad lighting in the pics is misleading you. There's no houndstooth in the jacket, for instance. Also, the slacks are much lighter than they appear in the long shot. Please take another look at the closeup on my feet and see if you still hold the same opinion. That's the true color of the slacks, and they're really quite light in color.
