    Hi inlandisland,

I really like the jacket, shirt, and tie combination. Just curious, what kind of pants are you wearing? I can't determine the fabric type by looking at it.

I hope wherever you work they appreciate great garb.

You're probably correct. The tie is a gift from a good friend in a far away part of the world. I'll tone it down with a blue shirt next time, a la Victor's suggestion below. Thanks!
The flash! I didn't think of that. I'll turn it off next time to see how it comes out, with a blue shirt as discussed in this post. With any luck, the suit will be different as well.
My thoughts precisely. I had some black bals in mind but the thought of all those hours on my feet...! Thanks.
No need. I never touch the hand rail unless I've licked it first.
I agree (I think). Next time, I'll give it a shot to see if it is less shiny and intense. Thanks for all the comments!

Thanks - the pants are a light worsted wool. I think people here and there appreciate it, but mostly I'm just misunderstood. :)

Matt, I'm curious as to why you don't like the dimple. Does it bother you that the dimple was the goal? Would it bother you if you tied a tie and it just happened to have the dimple?

Have you seen some of his tie knots? They look like Stevie Wonder is his valet.

I don't like ties that have a lot of body, which are also the ones that make dimples that get Mr. Daniels all hot and randy. As far as dimples themselves, I don't really care either way, but tight, pinched "perfect" dimples just strike me as a bit too contrived and lacking life.
