    Also at 4 pm.

I like the dark shirt experiment idea though. (Dark brown shirts excluded.)

It's time for flannel 3 pieces and madder ties. Manton, I think you said this tie was awful the last time I wore it…:D John Comfort has a special place in my wardrobe, though.

You mean the pants just bring out the wrong colors in the jacket? Or too light for the jacket?

You know, this color thing is hard for people with slight red/green blindness issues....

From what I can see, I kind of like it. Reminds me of an old Redwood & Ross I once had.

Yeah, I know. Was too lazy to return for another tie.
Thanks. It is by Fox Flannel.

For some reason I was reminded of the armoury when I saw the suit, does the armoury use fox cloth?

The other one I would have gone for was a light grey cord suit with a dark blue shirt, but the suit needs cleaning and alteration before I unleash it on the forum (if I ever do - it may just get cleaned and go straight to the Salvation Army along with the brown shirt)...

I'm still not convinced that dark shirts can never work as part of a suit ensemble - though I agree that as CBD it's out - so I would like to see those who do think it can work here, post some examples at some point. Maybe in a different thread.
