I just wanted to note that in this picture we may be inclinded to look at the fit of Luftvier's shirt, but I think the best thing about this shot is that it shows the rise of his trousers. For what seems like a long time now, the trend has been towards lower rise pants, but I'm struck by how good the higher rise looks. I don't know if the lower rise trend has been the side effect of a casual, jeans-wearing culture, or not, but in the context of tailored clothing and full suits in particular, a higher rise just looks more 'right' to me.
Anyhoo, I know this topic has been discussed before and that it is a personal preference thing, but it's what I thought of when I saw this picture. What are the thoughts of others?


I think low rise pants will eventually go out of style, my nuts can't agree with me more. Meanwhile, we lovers of the natural waist will simply have to wait out the storm.
