+1. Suits with low-rise trousers look off to me. I don't want to see a belt or part of the shirt when the jacket is buttoned.

I'm so happy that fall has returned so we can see the lovely autumnal colors and textures.

this one's a gift from my cousin from korea who came to my sister's wedding
since i had asked her to try to find me knit ties like the one i got before...
of course she couldn't find the shop without better directions but she just bought me this as a substitute

this one is a skinny square bottom knit tie (not triangle tipped and hand made like my other ones)
it's really cheap (under $15) ... but i guess it doesn't look too bad
the keeper tag behind the tie says "KISSA" .. that's it

gnatty, I like the obnoxiousness of the jacket. But the button point appears to be too high.

Beyond that, I think it would work better if the pants constrasted more. That BD collar is doing you no favors. I hope that the square does not match the shirt but it looks like it does.

you talkin to me? perhaps pantaclothing.com :lookaround:

That seems to be RL so I would start there, I don't recall a specific place that regularly has that type of wool tie, paul stuart/jpress probably?

not sure why this is not getting more love. The cut of the jacket is great, even if not perfect on you and the color is spectacular. The pants are perfect here. Much prefer this to the more typical navy coats.

The shirt and tie don't work together, though.

if the shirt is very light blue, it does. the tie is a bit darker than it appears (but then I guess that means the shirt is a bit darker also) a dark brown wool/cashmere/grenadine tie would have been great

I do remember these for women........I don't remember them with lucite heels for men.........I was just in their store in Roma and I'm glad to report they weren't displaying the lucite heels there......

It's not the color, it's that the shirt looks like a check.
