    Derek, I generally like your fits, the above one included. However, I have often wondered how your fits would look if your trousers were a bit less tapered. Maybe its a personal preference (i.e. for my own pants) but I feel your fits would look even better if the leg opening was a bit wider. I had a number of similarly tapered pants but have recently started preferring a slightly more relaxed fit (especially knee downwards - if that makes sense).

    Move the buttons out a bit and I think you can really change the roll on that shirt if you like. I'm no tailor, but physically, anyway, it makes sense to me.

    My father is English and I am a UK citizen, but I was born in and grew up in the USA.

    Well I think you got your shirt collar height and spread / tie knot / PS nailed now. Very Good!!


    The only thing i would change is the length of your blazer / SC.
    I know that is not going to happen until the next time you buy one. :)

    Thanks PS, the jacket is slightly off, and not the best fit since I've had it made (I put on few pounds and it did alter the balance a bit, but only enough for the folks here to notice. Otherwise I'd have Frank alter it, but I don't notice it so much, and I find once a bespoke garment is altered it isn't quite the same on the person it was made for. As nii suggested, it may simply have needed a pull down as it was a very long day, and the pants definitely needed a pull up. As far as casual/formal, its something that I wanted to try, think of it more as a Blazersuit, which is why I chose the lighter colored buttons. I'll be wearing the pants again this week with something else so we can get a better idea of the fit then. I like the idea of the shirt and tie you suggest, and I'll give it a shot at some point, and the color shoes was prob not the best decision looking back.
