many people did not find it satisfying at all.
the last two pics you posted, I think would have been better with a white shirt, but they still look fine to me (minus this pocket square). I would think about slightly smaller shades. Not sure if you have a small head or if they glasses are just very large, but they are giving you a 'fly" effect in the pics.
Speaking of shades, where is Mafoofly in all of this?
fucking DIG this. fall is the best time to whip out an ascot. well done!
If there was anything this thread was lacking, it was ascots.
Nii, I think you have a great grasp of color, more than most. Of course, everyone has hits & misses, but your posts are an example of someone who has demonstrated an understanding of color balance. Perhaps it comes naturally. For some it does. Others have to consult a color wheel. The fact remains that there are colors that complement each other, and those that do not. Those that do it often enough, gain greater knowledge, and when they are critiqued, they can learn from & apply it.
Now apply that to fit. That can become a little more tricky, since no two bodies are alike. However, there are tricks that suits can do. If someone says, for example, your left shoulder is low, you can
1) not acknowledge this at all, you can
2) acknowledge it & say it's not that big of a deal to you, or you can
3) acknowledge it & change it.
Same thing with issues of proportion. So, which one are you?
I ask you that in all honesty, because it seems that you have reached a point where if someone criticizes an aspect of your fit, it seems that you generally choose the first and chalk it up to nitpicking or personal preferences. If wearing a suit is not rocket science, and yet you continue to have the same things pointed out to you, then it's either #1 or #2. Or is the whole world against you? Likely not, since you're generally a nice guy and have an amenable personality and a great smile. So could it be that there is truly something to improve?
details on the suit
make it affordable enough and i'll take it off your hands
although i'm really waiting for you to sell the tom fords...
maybe i can bribe people to criticize the TF fits ...
save the bribe money to make the TF investment!
lol i'll be saving for a long long time................. here's me doing a spoo impression at the TF store i was loving the suit... until i saw the $5200 price tag
sweet talking wouldn't work to get a discount? having said that, even at 10% off it would still be REALLY expensive!
even at 50% i don't think i can pull the trigger so i have my eyes on a slightly more realistic target RLBL anthony suit in navy or navy pinstripe
iPhone pics, darkness and end-of-day crumples:
sucks doesnt it? I visited the TF room at niemans...fell in love with EVERYTHING. the salesman showed me the newest piece they got in...a gorgeous peak lapel navy blazer with brass buttons. fir me like a glove....but the wife wouldnt approve the $3500 price. Ill give it to the salesman though...he called me a week later and tried to get me to put it on a niemans card and explain it to the wife later. ALMOST had me convinced. but I wouldve been murdered.
get that boy some new shoes NOW.
a tom ford suit is not worth getting your balls chopped off...
something looks wrong in the shoulders/neck area in the first picture
