lufty, i really like the fabric of the suit (details?) and the tie is nice as well.. PS looks a bit "hangy" though...

For a bunch of straight boys, there seems to be an inordinate amount of that activity going on around here (much more than swirls around my gay brain, certainly).

    Just sayin' . . .

You're all missing the important thing. VictorSF gave me a thumbs up. Scratching that one off my checklist.

Yeah, ps was worn with intention to pick up red pindots in the tie. On reflection, I think you're right that its not harmonious.

Shoes are AE Fairfax- not gunboats at all. I think these were made on the 5 last. They're far blobbier than other shoes I've seen on the 5; I don't know whether it's the Wholecut construction or what. Certainly not elegant. They looked a lot better in the showroom than on my feet. :/

Spoo, do you have a watch collection? I do love your green rolex submariner :inlove:

You are loving the green accessories so it's a good fit

PS - Luft, I feel the same about the fairfax. In pictures I lived them, when wearing them, meh. :plain:

This reminds me of me. Naturally, I approve. Just needs a pair of chelseas.

Would have liked a solid shirt better than the very fine stripes with the small coat pattern.

Shoes seem OK to me luft but I agree on the square.

Doc, I am not reminded of you in the above.

How so? I wear that color combo pretty regularly, assuming the tie's navy.

Tie looks green, but anyway I was thinking more of the cut. I don't know where Spoo gets his clothes or who makes them but they all seem to have the same "issues" for me: very puffed out chest, too-tight waist, too open above the button and more of a "U" rather than "V" shape, overall a look of a short front balance and the impression that the coat is riding up and off the neck.

Yeah, the fit isn't the same, and I wouldn't pick the square or the socks. But the tones are right, the lapels are narrowish and the laceless shoes are even in a dark brown suede. It's probably the closest Spoo and I have ever come to intersecting.
