THIS is what real twinkie is like:
without even reading, i could deduce why there were 60+ posts on a Sunday night...lol. SF at its finest.
Anyway, i was in the Temple watching Boca and Argentina Juniors tonight... got to tour the museum, meet the players, visit the field. Best sports experience of my life happened today ... being the only black guy with my team, I had ~10k people chanting "brother of Pele!!" while we toured the field after the game ... lol - a great Sunday night
Thats awesome Nii. Congrats.
Nii, let me correct you... the temple is "El Monumental de Nunez" home of the biggest south america soccer (futbol for us) club, River Plate (we just happen to be in the second category right now ... having said that enjoy your time in Argentina... oh sweet home...
Shock horror, a wonderful medusa avatar, vanquished... the greek gods will not be pleased...
I disagree, I think the coat length is fine, the sleeves might be a 1/4 - 1/2 inch short but ... damn EFV if that's how you dress to take a stroll in the park... i'm the biggest slob in history...
I think the discovery of another PCAT warrants this.
good....that means theres still a pair left in my size. awaiting the sell of a few pieces and those trousers are fuckin mine.
a bit early for monday...but thought id get some input before the morning.
wondering if the PS is too matchy to the tie.
That's an interesting suit and I'm happy to see that you're not afraid of "standing out", which is almost inevitable with a three-piece these days - and too bad as they look great IMO. The sleeves are on the short side (or the shirt sleeves a bit long). The tie looks okay (see below for a franker assessment), but I'm thinking something like gingham or shepherd's check might look stunning with that suit. You could also try a green tie, which often looks great with gray suits, or possibly a sober checked shirt and a navy / brown solid tie to pull it all together.
The tie is terrible and the suit buttons are a bit jarring with that cloth but the suit itself is nice.
If that's a flannel suit, I'd wear a non-silk tie and either suede shoes or darker calf ones.
If the tie were form the pocket square fabric and the square from the tie, the look would improve. I agree with Manton.
I also agree with Ed
Did you have the lapels narrowed?
I predict your wife will leave you for a rather hairy lesbian and your children will join a cult. All in hopes of getting away from you.
Appreciate the look, love the suit, not a big fan of the tie.
