hmm. I tend to agree with Lufty. it does look a little long...mostly in the body though. personally i prefer mine a bit shorter. could just be a personal preference though.

If it would make any difference to your judgment, the tie is darker IRL than in the photos, and if truth be told, I would have preferred a pink shirt without as much pattern (an end-on-end would have been more my speed), but I improvised last night.

As for Lufty's shirt, it's a BB extra slim fit, for which he is perfectly proportioned, from what I can tell of his postings here, but I am not a fan of club collars, though, were it mine, I would wear it with a collar bar/pin - the style of the shirt is VERY retro (20's-30's) - it's something with which one either works, or one doesn't buy the shirt in the first place. For someone with Lufty's retro sensibilities, he took option A.

Ah, you flatter me too much! It's just an old fashioned regular Slim Fit. The extra slim's are too small in the chest and throughout the body for me. I guess I have a disproportionately small neck for my chest size.

Not that this is any great precident, but many of the older characters in Mad Men frequently wear pinned club collars. I presume that since BB is sort of the style consultant for the show, they would be able to verify this style as typical of the era.

Actually the first suit I post here. As I'm quite a casual guy it seems like I'd better go with something like corduroy then (lo and behold, that's exactly what I did).

If anyone notices a shy cuff it's due to my wristwatch being a killjoy.

Just got my first corduroy suit back from a tailor. Inspired by your post and looking forward to breaking it in come fall.

Is there a "Hit list" or "Death pool" thread? I think on the top of my list would be IST (think pretty close to my size). Urban Comp is a close second but I don't think the size is right.:D

That's my size, but I think he sometimes gravitates towards a 40 as well when he eats too many Big Macs.
